Celerity Chambers has been founded by Me. Usaama Dauharry and Me. Antish Maroam combining their expertise in Corporate Law, Financial Services, Compliance, Tax and Insolvency. We have a particular focus on matters pertaining to compliance given that Usaama was closely involved with the national AML CFT committee during the Financial Action Task Force’s inclusion of Mauritius on the list of jurisdictions under increased monitoring. While the dark days of the Grey Listing have passed, we are mindful of the risks posed by money launderers and financiers of terrorist alike.

The partners have a combined experience of 17 years in the financial services sector and have advised a wide array of clients ranging from high net worth individuals to institutional investors such as banks, investment funds and investment
arms of governments.
